This rag quilt was made out of scrap flannels fabrics. Flannels make the perfect rag quilts because they are so soft and they fray so well when washed.

I didn’t have a pattern for this but had made a baby rag quilt before, so I just made it up as I went along—my favorite way to sew!!
I love how rag quilts turn out very sturdy because of all their bulky, frayed seams. To me, this serves as the perfect outdoor picnic blanket…sew sturdy, sew warm, and sew comfy!!
